Funded by the Federal government’s Department of Heritage. Say It Loud was established in response to an RFP to promote Black PRide and Positive Cultural Identity in the Black youth demographic of age 14-29 across Canada. Urban Rez Solutions elected to develop a platform to support youth initiatives in the categories of Technology, Entrepreneurship, Social Initiatives, Visual, Literary, Culinary, Performance and Fashion as an effective means of debunking the negative stereotypes associated with Black youth as over representing in the areas of entertainment, sports and crime at the expense of educational attainment and pro-social contribution.
